ABOUT US

Sports and Leisure around Ross is wide and diverse. There are well over 200 privately run clubs and societies in Ross Town and the surrounding villages (Conveniently described as the HR9 area).

The aim of the Ross Sports and Leisure Federation is to promote the development of sporting and leisure facilities for the benefit of local residents and visitors. It provides a central forum for news and information about existing clubs, plus providing leadership and direction for the development of new community based facilities.

This Website includes a searchable list of sports and leisure clubs in the area, including contact names and websites where details of venues, meeting times and fixture lists can be found.

Reasons for joining the Federation

The AGM was held on November 22nd 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council offices and the officers were unanimously re-elected.

The last meeting of the trustees was on November 22nd 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council offices. The next meeting will be on February 8th 2011, same time, same place.
